You can also play this like a board game around the table. Just pass the jar from person to person and have each one answer the question they draw. The first person names something that starts with A, the next person B, C, and so on until you get to Z. Blessing Brain Storm Divide your guests into groups of 4 or 5 and have each group come up with a list of 50 things they are grateful for. Have big sheets of paper and markers so everyone in the group can see what is on the list. Or, as a variation, give each team a limited time and see who comes up with the most things without repeating. Cornucopia This is one of our family's favorite Thanksgiving party games. Have a table with paper, clay, paint and other craft items and ask each guest to make something small that represents something they are grateful for over the past year. Use the completed items to fill a basket in the center of the table and have each person explain their item as they enter it. You can also have people bring things before the party if this is easier. Have string and a hole punch to turn each item into a Christmas Tree ornament that each guest can take home with them. There are lots of variations on this theme depending on the time available, age, and craftiness of your guests. You can just have them write on a star or add a thought to a paper flower and use the flowers as a centerpiece. You can have them draw a tile or square that you put together into a mosaic, or quilt or collage. You can take pictures of the final product and send a copy home with each guest if you want.
