If you are lucky enough to have grown up with a loving father chances are you have lots of fond memories of shared outings, hobbies and interests- a strong source of happiness. However, research shows that much of our emotional intelligence also comes from our fathers. Fathers play with their children differently than mothers. They tend to be more rough and tumble, encouraging risks and helping to set boundaries. This leads to greater self confidence and better, more peaceful relationships later in life.
