Happy Life Tip of the Week, Issue #122- Dream Come True July 27, 2011 |
There is magic in goals. To make your dream come true, write it down as a goal.Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now. The essence of optimism is the belief that I, as an individual, can take action to make a positive difference in my own life. Lately, as I listen to the news I find my optimism severely challenged. Between the global financial crisis, the bickering and greed of politicians, and the dishonesty of news outlets, it is easy to fall into apathy. I find I am constantly asking myself, how can I fix things? How can I make a difference? I believe that accepting the world as it is, including the hate and greed, then focusing on building up the positive things like love, virtue, sharing, and social justice, will make the world better. Perhaps we will not eliminate hate and greed and unfair social systems, but we can make a positive difference. That is what spreading happiness is all about. When I make happiness for; myself, my friends and family, my community, my country, and the world my goal, and I start to work actively on that goal, I unleash a powerful magic on the world. I take control of the direction of change. If you dream of peace, love and happiness, then join me in setting the realization of these values as one of your goals. Set your other goals carefully to make sure they are in alignment with these values. Make your interim goals timely and achievable and write them down. When you do, I believe that together, we can all make this world a better place because- There is magic in goals. To make your dream come true, write it down as a goal. Please help spread the happiness by sharing this newsletter with your friends and family. Thank you. Affirmation I set my goals carefully because I know there is magic in them. I write them down and take action to make them come true because my goals are just my dreams with deadlines. Journal or Meditation Question What goals have I written for myself? Do my goals reflect my dreams? Have I experienced the magic of a written goal in my life? If I were to experiment with the magic of written goals, what dream am I ready to start on? To Subscribe
