Unfortunately, for most of us, it just is not that easy. Still, scientists have discovered that we can make a difference in our overall happiness thorough our own actions. We can improve our happiness no matter what our circumstances by choosing our thoughts and actions. For more on how to Be Happier Now… You can practice happiness by smiling, or thinking happy thoughts, visiting with a friend, practicing a hobby, singing a song, or doing anything else that you enjoy. Even practicing happiness for a few seconds-the time it takes to make a smile- can make a positive ripple in your day. There are lots of resources on the habits that make people happier. We recommend the book, Happy For No Reason.html by Marci Schimoff for 21 happy habits.
